Often, when it comes to designing small spaces, you also need to make style choices. Small houses are not bad in themselves: the only risk is that the rooms will go dark. To illuminate the environment, prefer white, light colors and warm white lights: you will see what a change! Your home will immediately look different. Leave the lighter tones for accessories and jewelry and, if you really don’t want to give up colorful walls and wallpapers, limit yourself to decorating only one wall, always opting for light and bright tones.
The same rule applies to materials: furnish a house without weighing it down, green light for everything that is light and transparent! If you really need a coffee table in the living room, for example, opt for it with a glass top. The same goes for curtains: better in tulle or light linen than in heavy materials such as velvet and taffeta. Finally, use mirrors. Placing large mirrors at strategic points in the house is a time-honored but always effective tip. When you can’t choose between a painting and a mirror, always choose the latter!
